IVunited is an interdisciplinary philanthropic organization founded in Nafplio, Greece. Our name stands for “Independent Volunteers United” as it has been built on the legacy and expertise acquired through years of altruistic action at the service of the future of our planet and communities, an experience that ultimately built the DNA of our agency. Today, IVunited serves as an organization for the creation of systems, programs and projects capable of facilitating and automating sustainable and innovative development. Our approach is rooted in biomimicry, evolutionary observations as well as the interdisciplinary convergence between fields of science, engineering, business and design. This strategic methodology allows us to design new and simplified ways to pave the road of philanthropically driven evolution
Our aim is to put corporate, digital and cultural development strategies at the service of local community development, cooperation, humanitarianism, universal welfare and the global progress towards the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Our organization focuses on interdisciplinary research and project development methods such as Design Thinking, Agile Development, Biomimetic Design and a number of other framework-focused development strategies that innovate the way we tackle problem-solving for causes.
One of the main practices of IVunited is to develop unification strategies for common grounds between already existing initiatives in order to increase the impact, innovation speed, and coordination capacity of local, national and international development initiatives.
In order to differentiate the activities we are deploying in the South of Greece, for the welfare and future development of the region of the Peloponnese, coordinated mainly from the prefecture of Arcadia, we are launching IVArcadia, a branded project responsible for unveiling and overviewing this specific targeted regional development direction.

IVArcadia. Partnerships and Projects for the Benefit of Local Development and Innovation.
IVArcadia is an initiative targeting the development of coordinated and unifying development strategies and projects for the benefit of the local development and innovation of the region.
Our objective is to be a strategic point of union for matters of regional partnerships and coordination in order to serve the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) at a local level.
IVArcadia’s Goals :
- Creation of partnerships serving the regional development (SDG 17).
- Progress toward models of sustainable cities & communities (SDG 11).
- Coordination at the service of Industry innovation & infrastructure (SDG 9).
Our main motivation in the deployment of IVArcadia is to unfold a historical narrative and a long-term plan rooted in sustainability. Our mission to serve coordinated development aims to help define a universal and publicly available blueprint and public databases that can serve as the foundation for all local cooperation and partnerships.
Our first steps :
- Public Domain Projects : We organize and coordinate local development through partnerships around specific prioritized projects. Those projects benefit the public domain and results that serve the entire community, as they are capable of reducing individual organizational costs.
- Digitalization : In order to put sustainable and philanthropic development strategies at the heart of execution, we work in direct collaboration with a digital agency and a database of specialized contractors that allow us to shape strategy into digital production in a way independent digital companies can’t.
- Cultural Narratives (Branding & Storytelling) : We work with semiotics specialists, creative directors, designers and fiction writers in order to find the best creative narratives able to unite the local communities and translate their legacy into branded representation.
- Mapping, Data Modeling & Future Scoping : We accumulate and structure the organizational information of the area of Arcadia, in order to deliver high-value maps and models of this data for public use and analysis. In addition, we research and model ways in which most innovative technologies could serve the local development in a way that most benefits the sustainable and fruitful future of the region. In sum, we help visualize the future and help the region prepare for it to unfold.
